A lower sugar Halloween?! 🎃
Halloween is a lot of fun for those who celebrate but sometimes the candy can be a little much. Especially when kids are getting it from multiple places like school/daycare, after school activities, and Halloween events.
Instead of sugar this year why not treat kids to something that's healthy and fun? Not only is it better for them, you'll also be able to accommodate kids with allergies so everyone can get in on the fun.
That doesn't mean giving them apples or other "healthy" foods - we're not monsters here! Instead, we rounded up some fun alternatives to Halloween candy:

- Pokemon cards. Apparently there are still a thing and they even make Halloween packs to make handing them out easy (and affordable).
- PlayDoh. Those little mini packs of PlayDoh are perfect for Halloween and great for all ages. Make them even more cute with a printable "Boo" card.
- Glow sticks. Not only are they fun but practical too for keeping kids safe when it gets dark. Add some labels and give out two.
- Slap bracelets. Apparently these are still a thing! You could give them out on their own but I thought these "Slappy Halloween" labels were too cute not to share.
- Halloween crayons. Lots of options here but it you want to be "Pinterest perfect" without the effort you can order pre-made bags of Halloween crayons on Etsy too. Boom, done.
